COBB NZL is a modular industrial video endoscopy system designed to adapt to different inspection requirements through quickly interchangeable probes.

A single main unit can be configured with 2.0 mm, 2.8 mm, 3.9 mm and 6.0 mm probes, allowing the probe diameter, optical configuration, illumination and length to be selected according to the specific application.

The articulating configurations provide 360° control of the probe tip orientation, while the 5″ industrial LCD display, photo and video recording capabilities, and Wi-Fi connectivity make the NZL a complete platform for inspection and documentation.

The COBB NZL is built around a modular concept: one main unit with quickly interchangeable probes, allowing you to select the most suitable configuration for each inspection.

  • IP54 PROTECTION for the main unit; the technical documentation specifies IP67 for Ø3.9 and Ø6.0 mm probes.
  • TUNGSTEN BRAIDED SHEATHS, with specific configurations depending on the probe diameter.

The optical configuration, depth of field, resolution, illumination and maximum articulation angle vary depending on the selected probe.

Illumination Designed for Each Probe Diameter

The Ø2.0 and Ø2.8 mm probes use integrated LED illumination.

The Ø3.9 and Ø6.0 mm probes use a high-power rear LED with light transmission through optical fibre.

This allows the NZL platform to adopt a specific illumination solution according to the size and configuration of the selected probe.

Inspection Capture and Management

The system allows inspection documentation to be captured and managed directly through functions including photo and video recording, image capture during video recording, freeze-frame, zoom, rotation/flip, playback and file deletion.

Additional documented functions include grayscale mode, date/time watermark, customizable annotations, sequential file numbering, grid display and on-screen visual references.

The Wi-Fi connection also enables wireless connectivity.
