COBB ENDOSCOPI INDUSTRIALI

Dual Front and Side View – 1, 2 and 3 Metre Lengths

The COBB NZQ2.8 Dual Vision is a professional industrial video endoscope designed for inspections in particularly confined spaces, where small diameter, high manoeuvrability and dual viewing directions are essential.

The Ø2.8 mm probe features a Dual Vision front + side view configuration, allowing the operator to inspect the area from two different viewing directions without having to replace the probe during the inspection.

The system is part of the modular COBB NZQ platform and features a 6″ FHD touchscreen display, 360° probe articulation, Wi-Fi connectivity, photo and video capture, advanced image management and a comparative 2D measurement function.

Small Diameter and Dual Vision

The main distinguishing feature of the COBB NZQ2.8 is its Ø2.8 mm Dual Vision probe.

The combination of a forward-view camera and a second side-view optical direction allows components, cavities and internal surfaces to be examined from complementary perspectives using a single probe.

The specified field of view is 120°, while the depth of field ranges from 3 to 70 mm.

This configuration makes the system particularly suitable for applications where the available access diameter is extremely limited, while still requiring a more comprehensive view of the inspected area.

Key Strengths of the COBB NZQ2.8 Dual Vision Video Endoscope

  • Ø2.8 MM PROBE: extremely compact diameter for accessing cavities and components with restricted openings.
  • DUAL VISION: dual forward + side viewing directions integrated into the same probe.
  • 360° ARTICULATION: tip control in all directions.
  • 1 / 2 / 3 METRE LENGTHS: different configurations available depending on the application.
  • 6″ FHD TOUCHSCREEN MONITOR: display with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution.
  • MODULAR NZQ PLATFORM: rapidly interchangeable probe using a quick-change system.
  • WI-FI: integrated wireless transmission.
  • PHOTO AND VIDEO: direct capture and documentation of inspections.
  • ZOOM AND FREEZE FRAME: tools available directly from the main unit.
  • COMPARATIVE 2D MEASUREMENT: dedicated function for comparative image assessment.
  • ANNOTATIONS: option to manage annotations and customisable file names.
  • ADVANCED ARCHIVE: internal memory and TF card support.
  • VIDEO OUTPUT: HDMI and Type-C connections.
  • ADJUSTABLE LIGHT: integrated LED illumination with multiple adjustment levels.
  • IP67 PROBE: probe protection for industrial inspection applications.
  • IP54 MAIN UNIT: protection for the control unit.
  • ≥8 HOURS BATTERY LIFE: declared operating time of the main unit.

Modular Platform with Quick Probe Change

The COBB NZQ2.8 Dual Vision uses the modular architecture of the NZQ platform.

The Ø2.8 mm probe can be quickly removed and replaced using the quick-change system, without having to replace the main unit.

This allows the platform to be used as the basis for different inspection configurations, while the model presented on this page is specifically dedicated to the Ø2.8 mm Dual Vision configuration.

In the PDF, this feature is highlighted on pages 2 and 3 as one of the key elements of the NZQ architecture.

6″ Full HD Touchscreen Monitor

The main unit features a 6-inch Full HD touchscreen monitor with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.

The display provides direct control of:

images · menus · photos · videos · zoom · freeze frame · measurement functions

The touchscreen interface is complemented by joysticks and physical controls, designed for practical operation even during prolonged inspection tasks or in industrial environments.

The combination of touchscreen and physical controls allows the operator to quickly manage both probe navigation and image capture functions.

Dual Vision: Forward + Side View

The probe integrates two different viewing directions:

FORWARD →
SIDE ↑

The operator can therefore observe the same area from two complementary perspectives using a single probe.

This system is particularly useful when it is necessary to inspect both the area directly in front of the probe tip and the side walls of the cavity or component being inspected.

The Dual Vision configuration combines a 120° field of view with full 360° probe articulation.
